My Saviour

Yes, He is my Saviour, my comforter, my redeemer, my protector, my guide, my healer, He is all in my life and He is my God. Today is Palm Sunday start of the Holy Week where God, sacrifice His only Son to save all mankind from sinning so we can live. Yes, He is loving God that only our sake was He after, to redeem us from all wrong doings. How amazing and wonderful He is, I really witness how loving, merciful and forgiving He was, despite of everything I do, for my selfishness and wrong doings, He is still there, never leave nor forsake me, but redeem me and take me away from life that is not healthy and good for me.

My G, you are the best father. You always amaze me of all the things you have done in my life. Sometimes I dont know how to repay you for all the rescue, comfort and love you extend to me. Im so grateful and so thankful my G. I will do my very best to make you proud of me. Please always guide my path and lead my way so I wont be lost in the wilderness, help me focus on you that I wont be distracted with the worldly desires.

Please continue to be there for me, to give light in my path, to give me wisdom and knowledge that I may keep your word in my heart and apply it to my daily routine, so I can give or serve you and your people with all my heart.

I love you my G, you are strength, my life and my salvation, so I can stand firm.

Day well spent

 Today was a fantastic and busy day. I never thought Im busy like bee spending all my time doing something that makes your heart and soul happy and at peace. 

I didn't get a chance to go to church because I want to experience a yearly Hiking Expo which I didn't regret going because it helps me grow and improve my well being by doing things alone and trying to explore stuff that I think I can't do. But hey here I am, standing all alone, motivating myself to pursue and do what I like to do.

After the expo, I went home and get dressed to attend the Open Heaven in the church, it was great and feeling light hearted singing and praising God through worship.

I went food shopping and Chinenye my housemate get to cook mushroom and vegetable stir fry, was delicious. After dinner my sister rang me suppose to invite to go out for dinner, but since I had it, just suggest to her to order take away and eat at home so we can still catch up, then after we watch movie in my bedroom while I'm folding clothes 😁, I'm a multitasker.

The night ended when sister go home and I'm here just writing how beautiful my day was, back to photo blogging again. I can't thank God enough for everything that is happening in my life aside from the bad chapters, Im doing good and everything will fall in to places, still life is beautiful and meaningful no matter what.

Walking SA Hiking Expo Experience

 Today was my first time to join Walking SA hiking expo 2023. I've got to experience what it was like to gather and saw lots of people who loves walks or hikes. I never thought I could make it, I've only seen the ads on my Facebook news feed and got curious so I visit the website and there I get lots of information how to join and where at. This is my thing, this is what I like to do on my spare time. To be active, to explore, to adventure, to feel and admire the beauty and unique creation of nature. 

I didn't get a chance to register online, but they accept walk-in so I went there early. While waiting for the schedule time I wander around and get to ask info and detail of the bushwalking, national park SA walking activities. Lots of information I've got and how to join, they have all the maps of SA bushwalking and hiking trails so I grab a few of them. The walk schedule was all year round, some are seasonal only. They not only cater around SA but also interstate and overseas. How exciting it is to join and be part of a healthy lifestyle outdoor activities like this.

Im so glad I've made it to be there. Now I can plan and join or be a member of the hiking community.

All day Long

Last Sunday was like a 12 hour shift for me, not that I work but because the things I have done start from early morning. I have invited a friend to go to church, I hope he enjoy it,  the preaching was very good and heart moving, I've met and say Hi to my churchmates and introduced my friends to them.

After church, my friend and I grab a bite, then we went for a nice walk on the nearest reserve. It was my first time to walk in there and I'm impressed the natures trail and God's wonder in every part of the place. It's close to my place but never visited there, it's hilly on some part and overlooking all throughout the city and bay. I was really amazed the beautiful creations that God had created. 

It was a random and spontaneous day out, after walking we went to the beach to eat again, we ate fish and chips and just chill on the bay side, even had a quick nap there. After that we went to another side of the beach, one of the tourist attraction in Adelaide, the Glenelg Beach to get some slushie or bubble tea and we had a quick walk along the bay and stay until the sunset.

It was a beautiful day, we took some photos of any subject that are very interesting and the highlights were the sunset photos.

True Friend

I thank God for giving me and my sister a very true and genuine friend. So harmless, very helpful, supportive and always there when we need his manly skills and gifts. When I want someone to lean on and get a manly views about life and love he is willingly listen and give me his views and opinions as well as advise. It's only one call or text away he is like a lightning that comes over and with a good heart helping me with the maintenance at home without asking in return for some labor. I'm just the one who force him to accept the small reward for his time, his work and effort to buy materials.

And today was really nice of him to bring the materials, all made, assemble and ready to put up, the fly screen for the window. Now, we can slide up and open the window not worrying about the flies or mosquito to get inside, plus a fresh air coming inside is the most important part of it.

I truly appreciate his effort and how many times I told him, how grateful and appreciate all his help. My sister and I are so blessed for having him in our life. Godbless his good heart and hope life will be nice to him. 

He has work lined up to do, but no rush.😁

Walk with faith in your heart

 I had a very busy week and yaaayyy my weekend off 🙂. I woke up thinking of what to do with my day, I need to do something active and productive. I do my best to have morning routine of reading God's word. I put some dirty clothes in the washing machine and decided to go out for a walk and a brunch on the beach front cafe. For quite a while it's my first to walk alone down the beach as well as eat alone. It was actually the best feeling to do something by yourself. It's as if I'm eating and walking alone with God, He is my companion, though He is invisible but I can feel Him. I thought I will feel lonely thinking of the recent event in my life but I'm not, it's a peaceful feeling learning how to live and do stuff for yourself and not depending on others. It's fulfilling and satisfying feeling knowing I can live happily alone and enjoy to do the activities I want to do. 

I'm learning and growing, before I think I can't do it. I always wanted to have someone, a company not just a mere company for fun but someone whom I can trust, share my life with, to live in sense of being with each other through the toughest and darkest season of life. That's what I've meant of having someone, but I'm on the waiting list 😁, now I won't be in a hurry or rush, because if you rush, you will stumble into someone that isn't right for you, you think he might the right but you are just forcing yourself to have that someone and the result is a failure. Failure realising and knowing you just want someone but you have no boundaries, you only accept the good not knowing there's is much better or best for you. So now I won't settle for less, for just good, but will wait for the Best, the best and right time God has plan and reserve for me.

As for the walk, its a good reflection of my life, my experience, talking to God intimately, admiring His beautiful creation, to feel the fresh air, to see people and family are out is happiness, dining and having quality with each other, people are actively going out walking, swimming and doing outdoor activities feels like everything and every second of our lives is worth living if your doing something special. It was a lovely walk along the shore and I hope I can do it often 🙂

Playford Lake, Belair National Park

Today, I've met a friend for a walk in one of the nearest National Park. It's my first time to visit there, so I'm looking forward to explore the park. Actually there are lots of walking, hiking, bike trails there, but we only walk around the lake side. There are lots of trees around too some has traces of bush fire, one tree caught my attention, it looks different from the other and I like how the branches formation, it's a pine tree

I wish I can explore the park next time especially the side where there is waterfalls and look out.
